Silk fabric

Why choose a silk pillowcase over regular cotton?

Silk fabric has many wonderful properties and this luxurious and soft fabric should not be underestimated. This fabric is one of the most expensive fabrics for a reason. I would never have thought that a silk pillowcase could be so important for my hair and facial skin. It was precisely because of my long and dyed hair that I tried a silk pillowcase. My dyed blonde hair was dry and broke easily, when I woke up in the morning my hair was frizzy, the ends of my hair looked like dried hay. No hair mask or oil helped here, because when I went to bed my hair was always super beautiful and in the morning I hated my hair. Then I tried a silk pillowcase and I don't want to sleep with a cotton pillowcase anymore. I even took my silk pillowcase with me on a trip.

The role of silk fabric for facial skin should not be underestimated. First, silk is much softer and more delicate than regular cotton, causing less friction on our delicate skin. Second, silk is antibacterial, meaning that silk fabric does not create or spread bacteria, which in turn cause inflammation and acne on the facial skin. I recently asked a friend for feedback on our silk pillowcases. She said she was still testing them, but she had already noticed that when she slept with a cotton pillowcase in between, bumps appeared on her face. With a silk pillowcase, facial skin is cleaner and no bumps appear.
